  1. PRE-INSTALLATION

  3. Make sure that the MacMiNT distribution files are in a folder by themselves.

  5. Launch MacMiNT to execute the install script that will extract the contents of 'root.zoo' and create your initial 'mint.cnf'.  You may delete 'root.zoo' if this step completes succesfully.

  7. Get an editor like BBEdit or Alpha to read the real 'readme' file.  The real 'readme' file, which contains the information needed to get started with MacMiNT, is in UNIX text file format.  This means that it uses \n instead of \r to separate lines.

  9. Continue the installation by following the instructions in the real 'readme' file.
